Shikoku

This is Dogo onsen, the oldest hot spring resort of Japan.
People have been soaking in its hot wells for more than 3000(!!) years.

Climbing Kompira-san in Kotohira does not necessarily require this pilgrim's stick.. but it makes climbing the hundreds of steps more of an authentic experience :)
