Gingakuji in Kyoto


The icon of Kyoto, the famous and truly magnificent Kinkakuji. The Golden Pavillon.


Scenic beauty at its finest, Kinkakuji is placed in a wonderful garden.


Fushimi-Inari Taisha, with its miraculous endless stream of torii..


Daibutsu-den, the biggest wooden building, housing the biggest bronze Buddha of Japan. Located in Nara.


Kyomizu-dera, a spectaular sight built on hundreds of large wooden stilts and throning atop a hill over Kyoto.


Gion, the legendary traditional old district of Kyoto where you can feel the ancient times of Edo, as you spot young Geishas clip-clapping by in their wooden sandals.
