Sumo!!!

Thanks to Prof. Tedoriya the impossible was made possible: Getting tickets to the Hatsu-Basho, and still beter, the last day: Senshuraku ("the pleasure of one thousand autumns").
Fate played along and arranged the two Yokuzunas Asashoryu and Hakuho to meet in the last bout of the day, and battle 1on1 for the yusho, the win of the tournament.

This is the dohyo-iri ceremony of Asashoryu, the ritual of entering the ring.


The arena was bursting, the crowd enthusiastic, the mood ecstatic. I have seldomly experienced such a fantastic atmosphere.
