Fuji-Trip (1)

Last weekend Nobue, Kazumi, Kamran and Gala-chan and me went on a trip to the Mount Fuji area. The organizing committee constited of Kazumi.. only Kazumi! Domo arigatou for great planning! :D



We did a little but of hiking around Lake Kawaguchi and luckily enough also the weather was good and so we could get a great view at the most famous mountain in Japan.
It was amazing how truly gigantic this perfectly cone-shaped icon fills the sky and extends over almost all of the horizon, at least so it seems.

In the evening we even witnessed spectacular 30 minutes of fantastic fireworks right over the lake!
Our accomodation was very traditional Japanese with tatami-mats and futon beds and, the best of all, direct view on Fuji-san!
